Balangir, Dec 9: Income Tax Department sleuths continued raids on liquor shops and seized huge amounts of currency notes kept in 15 cartoons and five large bags from the house of Bunty Sahu, manager of Sudapada liquor trader in Balangir district.
According to sources, the seized money amounts to over Rs 30 crore. The Income Tax sleuths counted the notes amid a tight security.
Liquor traders Sanjaya Sahu and Deepak Sahu and officials of the Baladev Group of Companies will depose at the Income Tax Department's Regional head office in Bhubaneswar.
