Bhubaneswar, Nov 29: The All Odisha Private Bus Owners’ Association withdrew its indefinite strike scheduled from December 1 after holding discussions with Transport Minister Tukuni Sahu on Wednesday evening.
Association Secretary Debendra Sahu said, "We completely withdrew our proposed bus strike scheduled to be held from December 1, after the meeting with Transport Minister Tukuni Sahu."
Speaking to reporters, Minister Tukuni Sahu said, “The State government is committed to provide transportation facilities to the people at their doorstep through the LAccMI scheme, which is accepted by the private bus owners. However, they have certain conditions.”

According to sources the All Odisha Private Bus Owners’ Association had called for an indefinite bus strike from the 1st of December opposing the Location Accessible Multi-modal Initiative (LAccMI) of the State government in order to bridge the GPs with the blocks and respective districts.
