Titlagarh, Dec 5: At least 14 people are injured with some being critical after a pick up overturned after losing balance in Katarkela village under Titlagarh police station limits in Balangir district. 

According to information, a picnic party consiting of 20-25 people was going to Jogimunda in Kalahandi district for a picnic in the pick-up van. The injured included many women and children. They belonged to Haladi village under Muribahala police station.

The victims were rushed to Sub-divisional Hospital (SDH), Titlagarh by the locals.

The critically injured have been shifted District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) in Balangir. No casualties have been reported as of now. 

Police has reached the spot and is investigating the matter.
