Bhubaneswar, Dec 3: Union Minister for Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan spoke to IMD DG Dr Muthananjaya Mahapatra regarding Cyclone 'Michaung' and advised his party (BJP) activists to provide assistance and cooperation to people in the districts likely to be affected.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, Pradhan wrote, "I spoke to IMD DG Dr Muthananjaya Mohapatra about the current situation, location and landfall predicted by the Meteorological Department. He informed me that various districts of South Odisha are likely to be affected by this storm. I also spoke to our party's workers to assist the people in all these districts."

He said the Minister said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called upon the activists to provide cooperation for the protection of the people during the cyclone with their strength and capabilities.  He advised common people to follow the storm warnings issued by the administration. Narendra Modiji's government is committed to dealing with the cyclone, the Union Minister wrote on X.
