Bhubaneswar, Feb 2: Union Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Friday expressed deep grieve over the passing away of eminent film director and actor Padma Shri Sadhu Meher.

"Saddened hearing about the demise of Odisha's pride and renowned actor and director of Indian cinema Padma Shri Sadhu Meher. He contributed a lot to promoting Odia and Hindi cinema. His love and inclination towards acting was very unique. By his demise, the country lost a self-esteemed artiste. I pray for the soul to rest in peace and express my condolences to the bereaved family," Pradhan wrote on X.
