Bhubaneswar, July 6: President Droupadi Murmu landed at the Biju Patnaik Internationa Airport here this evening on a scheduled four-day visit to Odisha. She came by a special Air Force India plane. 

The President was received by Governor Raghubar Das and Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, among many dignitaries, at the airport. 

According to reports, she headed straight to Jaydev Bhawan to attend the death anniversary of Utkalmani Gopabandhu Das. She was escorted to Jaydev Bhawan amid tight security. After the event, she would move to the Governor's House to halt the night. 

The President would go to Puri by a special helicopter of the Indian Airforce to witness the world-famous Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath and His siblings- Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra. 

Later, Murmu will return to Bhubaneswar and attend various programmes in the next two days.
