Bhubaneswar, Feb 28: President Droupadi Murmu will arrive in Mayurbhanj today afternoon on a four-day visit to her home State, Odisha.

During her visit, President Murmu will participate in various programmes across several districts, including Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Ganjam, Khordha, and Sambalpur.

Today Murmu will reach Mayurbhanj in a special helicopter of the Air Force and will land at the temporary helipad at Pandarashila football ground in Sukrili.

After that, the president is scheduled to visit Maa Kichakeswari temple in Khiching and will attend Maa's darshan and aarti.

Later President Murmu is scheduled to lay the foundation stone for the Central Government Holiday Home at Rairangpur. 

On the occasion, she will also virtually lay the foundation stones for various road projects and a Sports Complex at Rairangpur as well as inaugurate Eklavya Model Residential School, Barsahi.

Security arrangements have been tightened at all the places in the State, where President’s programmes have been scheduled.
