Puri, Nov 3:  Gajapati Maharaja Dibyasingha Deb reviewed the progress of work of the Shree Jagannath Ballav Mutt today. He is scheduled to chair the Shreemandir Managing Committee meeting tomorrow. 

The Gajapati too reviewed herigate work going on around the Shreemandir.

According to the information, he visited the Jagannath Ballav and reviewed the progress of projects- multi-level parking, tourist center,3,700-sq ft meditation-yoga centre, 184 shops, 1420-car parking and 200 two-wheeler parking works. 

Sources said the foundation-laying ceremony, puja, and inauguration of projects are to be held soon. Thus, the Gajapati went to the site and reviewed the projects well before the scheduled programmes. 

Notably, the Government has targeted to complete the Shreemandir Heritage Project work by December 15. The project is likely to be inaugurated soon.

In view of the Gajapati's project review a day before the Shreemandir Managing Committee meeting, many have expressed hopes that the issue of Ratna Bhandar would be raised and discussed at the meeting tomorrow. 

While the High Court has directed for the formation of a high-level committee for Ratna Bhandar repair, the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) has not given any recommendations to the State Government in this regard yet.
