Puri: Shreemandir Deities Under Secret Treatment; Pati Di'an Worshiped Now

Puri, June 25: Sibling deities of Shreemandir- Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadr, and Devi Subhadra, are undergoing secret treatment for fever, caused by a ceremonial bath they had on the Debasnana Purnia, in the Anasar Ghar since Sunday.
The deities are in a dark room and under the special care of Daitapati Sevaks. Pati Di'an (Painting of deities) are being worshiped as representatives of the Trinity.
While wet clothes were taken off yesterday, the Shreeanga Phita Niti will be conducted today.

✨Rajvaidya (Ayurvedic doctor belonging to the Royal Family) have been treating the deities with medicines prepared from berbs. The deities are offered 'Chakata'(non-cooked and 'Pana') during their unwellness.
During these days, the deities wear white colour clothes and flowers only.
The deities will get well after 14 days and then make their annual sojuorn (Rath Yatra) to Shree Gundicha Temple, 2.5 km from Shreemandir. This year, Rath Yatra will begin on July 7.
