Rain, Thunderstorm, Lightning Likely In Odisha; Yellow Warning Issued

Bhubaneswar, Feb 22: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) Regional Centre, Bhubaneswar on Thursday predicted light to moderate rainfall over several districts in Odisha for next five days.
The IMD also issued a yellow warning of thunderstorm and lightning for several districts in the State on Friday and Saturday.
As per the IMD’s latest bulletin, thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj on Friday. The IMD issued a yellow alert for these eight districts on the day.

✨The weathermen also issued a yellow warning of thunderstorm and lightning for the districts of Angul, Dhenkanal, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Mayurbhanj, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Boudh and Keonjhar on Saturday.
There will be no large change in minimum temperature (night temperature) in the State during the next four to five days, the bulletin added.
