Dhenkanal, Mar 16: A scootorist died after a Hyva truck rammed into his scooter near Mahuli rice mill under Tumusinga police station limits in Kamakhyanagar area here this morning.

The deceased man has been indentified as Sambha Sahu of Aluajharana village. 

According to the information, a Hyva truck carrying sand was coming from Kamakhyanagar when the collision occured.

The accident was so impactful that he died on the spot. 

The locals have shown their agitation over the matter and staged a protest dmanding compensation for the deceased.
