Baleswar, June 22: In a gruesome act, a drunken man allegedly killed his parents and buried their bodies secretly in Garasanga village under Simulia police station limits in Baleswar district four days back.
The matter came to the fore after the youth's married sister Mamata Mallick complained to the police that her parents were killed and their bodies dumped elsewhere by her brother Ramesh Behera.
While the body of her father Pravakar Behera has been recovered, he mother Champa Behera's whereabouts are still to be traced.
Based on the daughter's complaint, the Simulia police conducted an investigation. The cops exhumed the body of Prabhakar from an agriculture field in the backyard of his house today. However, they are yet to find the whereabouts of Champa Behera.

Though the exact reason behind the ghastly act is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected that the youth, who is a habitual drunkard, could have killed them over a family feud.
