Mayurbhanj, Mar 20: The Similipal National Park in Odisha's Mayurbhanj district was closed for visitors for a day on Wednesday due to incessant rains caused by Nor'wester since yesterday.
Samrat Gouda, Deputy Director, Southern Division of Similipla Tiger Reserve (STR), said the authorities, based on the rain situation, will decide if the park will be opened tomorrow or not.
It may be noted that normal life has been hit across the State due to rains and wind-blow continuing from yesterday. The water-logging problem has disrupted vehicular movement at different places.
