Jagatsinghpur, Jan 21: Khandapada MLA Soumya Ranjan Patnaik once again stirred up a hornet's nest in the State's political circle as he directly remarked that all leaders (BJD's) and Ministers are silent and none of them can put a question to the Chief Minister.
"Here (In Odisha), leaders (BJD's) and Ministers are all silent. Nobody can raise a question. All leaders and Kupa Manduka (Frogs living in wells). None can put a poser before the Chief Minister," Patnasik said while addressing the golden jubilee celebration of Kujang Ramama Government High School yesterday.
He added that the formation of a new Odisha wouldn't be possible If we can't raise questions.
Speaking on the education sector in Odisha, Patnaik said, "We can't get good schools if they are merely tagged with 5-T. The government is not giving heed to teachers' legitimate demands. They are sitting on the road at Master Canteen Square in Bhubaneswar."
