Bhadrak, Dec 6: Squabbling in the Bhadrak unit of the BJD has come to the fore with Asit Patnaik celebrating his birthday with supporters in a bigway which has been politically perceived as a strenght show against local BJD MLA Sanjib Mallick. 

While Pattnaik celebrated his birth day at the RMC Market, a public place, by bursing firecrackers without persmission from the administration, the Sub-Collector has asked the police to take actions against him. 

It is now being discussed that the Sub-Collector filed an FIR against Patnaik at the behest of the local MLA. 

While police have not taken against 'Bahubali' leaders like Sushant Singh, Pratap Jena and Samir Das, who have been  accused of crimes, the FIR filed against Patnaik has raised eyebrows regarding police action, said a local man. 

Notably, Asit Patnaik moved in a grand procession to the RMC Market where he celabtrated his birthday in the presence of hundreds of supporters.
