State Cabinet Approves 12 Proposals; Financial Aids To Be Givent To Weavers, Artisans

Bhubaneswar, Feb 16: A meeting of the State Cabinet on Friday approved 12 proposals belonging to 10 departments.
The meeting was presided over by Chief Minister Naveen Patnik.
A proposal to provide financial support to weavers and village artisans was approved by the State Cabinent. As per the proposal, weavers aged between 40 and 80 years get a financial aid of Rs 2,000 per month, while weavers aged above 80 years will get Rs 2,500 per month.
Similarly, village artisans aged between 50 years and 80 years will get support.
As per another proposal, SHG members will be given Rs 1,000 each to buy dresses. As many as 70 lakh women will benefit from the scheme.

✨Besides, 1.5 lakh EC members will be gien Rs 2,000 each to buy blazers. A total of Rs 730 crore will spent for the financial aides.
As per another proposal, the State government will provide one acre of land in Puri for construction of Dharmasala for Kulata Samaj.
District Culture Officers will have cadres, another proposal said.
