Sonepur, Nov 14: Octogenarian Dukhi Nayak, who fell into a 20-ft borewell at Kainpur village under Sonepur block was rescued this forenoon was declared dead at Sonepur Hospital.
This news was informed by doctor Somi Purohit, in Sonepur Hospital.
The rescue operators took 5 long hours to conduct the rescue operation.

According to the information, the woman went to cut jutes in the field to make broom out of it when she fell into a 20-ft deep borewell.
Despite frantic searches at multiple places her family members were unable to trace her.

✨Today morning, some locals heared a sound coming out of the borewell, near the jute field and informed Tarabha fire station.
On being informed, Tarabha and Sonepur fire brigade reached on spot and started rescue operation.
An NDRF and ODRAF team were also deployed to rescue Dukhi.
After being rescued, she has been sent to Sonepur Hospital.
