Sonepur, Nov 14: A woman of Kainpur village under Sonepur block in Subarnapur district fell into a 20-ft deep borewell last afternoon rescue opeartion is still on.

The woman is identified as Dukhi Nag(80).

According to the information, the woman went to cut jutes in the field to make broom out of it when she fell into a 20-ft deep borewell.

Despite frantic searches at multiple places her family members were unable to trace her. 

Today morning, some locals heared a sound coming out of the borewell, near the jute field and informed Tarabha fire station.

On being informed, Tarabha and Sonepur fire brigade reached on spot and started rescue operation.

Latest resource said an NDRF team has also been pressed in service and rescue operation is still on.
