Sundargarh Road Accident: CM Declares Rs 3L Ex-gratia

Bhubaneswar, Dec 17: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday expressed deep grief over the death of five people in a road accident in Sundargarh and announced a compensation of Rs 3 lakh for the next family of each deceased.
Besides, the Chief Minister announced free treatment for all the injured persons. The Chief Minister also expressed condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured persons.
It may be noted that five persons were killed as an autorickshaw, in which they were returning home from a picnic, was hit by a hyva truck at Tangaramunda under the Sadar police station limits in Sundargarh district.
All the deceased and injured persons belonged to Sundargarh district, informed an CMO release.
