The deceased persons have been identified as Ram Singh Munda and his daughter Turi Munda of Lasarda Buru Sahi under Balani police station limits in the district.
According to the information, the father-daughter duo was going on a motorbike when an iron ore-laden trailer ran over them. While the driver managed to flee from the spot, the Rugudi police started an investigation.
