In a major twist of a plot to an Oxygen cylinder blast in Hi-Tech Hospital in Bhubaneswar, the person whose dead body was declared dead last Sunday by medical authorities named Dillip Samantray claims to be alive. 

Bhubaneswar, Jan 5: Bhubaneswar, Jan 5: In a major twist to the oxygen cylinder blast in Hi-Tech Hospital in Bhubaneswar, the person, who was declared dead as Dillip Samantray last Sunday by medical authorities, claimed to be alive as Dillip Samantray today. 

If Dillip is alive as per the claim, the body of another person was cremated by Dillip's family and relatives. What is more shocking is that Dillip's wife has ended her life after hearing about her husband's death in the explosion at Hi-Tech Medical College. . 

Last Sunday, it was announced by the hospital authorities that Dillip died during treatment. Later, the body was handed over to his family members in the presence of Mancheswar police.

But yesterday night, it was found that the deceased person who was identified as Dillip was Jyoti Ranjan Mallick. Thus, the body of Jyoti Ranjan Mallick was cremated by Dillip's family members and relatives. Family members took the body as Dillip's as the burnt body could not be recognized. 

Shockingly, Dillip's wife Suna Samantray committed suicide by hanging as she could not bear the pain of her husband's death.

Meanwhile, Dillip's claim has put Hi-Tech Hospital authorities in a quandary as Jyoti's family has demanded that his body be given to them soon. 

It is pertinent to mention here that another injured succumbed under treatment on Tuesday night. He was identified as Sritam Sahu.. 

In the latest development, the Hi-Tech Hospital authorities have clarified at a Press meet that the deceased's body could not be recognized by concerned family members due to the burning injuries and bandages spread all over it. The deceased was not an employee of the hospital, they said.
