Sundargarh, Apr 1: An under-trial prisoner escaped from under the police's nose while he was undergoing treatment in Sundargarh DHH district this morning. 

The under-trial prisoner, Arjun Munda, was arrested for a murder in December 2023 by the Bhasma police. 

On February 29, he complained of health condition and was admitted in District Headquarters Hospital at Sundargarh. 

Finding an easy way to escape from police he ran away while he was undergoing post operation treatment. 

The police has started a manhunt to nab the accused.
