Sundargarh, Mar 9: A woman was trampled to death by a wild elephant in Kusumundi village under Koida range in sundargarh district last night.

The deceased woman has been identified as Ituwari Bhadra.

According to the information, a wild tusker enters the village in search of paddy grains and after smelling danger, Ituwari  was going out from her house due to the fear of the elephant but wild tusker chased her and reportedly trampled her to death.
