Mayurbhanj, Dec 14: A woman died under mysterious circumstances at an isolated place near Karanjia square under Sadar police station limits in Mayurbhanj district on Wednesday. 

The dead has been identified as one Suru Badra of Takatapur area. She was working as a bank cashier in Odisha Gramya Bank at Sata putia under Samakhunta block.  

Her nephew, Sandeep Badra, has registered a written complaint with the Sadar police here, basing which police is investigating the matter. Her body has been handed over to the family members after post-mortem. 

According to sources, the incident happened when Suru was returning from bank. Locals spotted her lying in a critical state and informed her colleagues who rushed her to the near-by Community Health Centre (CHC) where she died.

According to information, Suru belonged to Badampahada and was staying here with her four nephews and looking after their education. 

Her death has created a remorseful scenario amongst her family members and colleagues. 

The exact reson behind her death is yet to be ascertained.
