Mayurbhanj, Dec 14: A man died after meeting with an accident in Bahalada by-pass on Ranchi-Vijayawada National Highway 220 under Bahalada police station limits in Mayurbhanj district this morning.
He was returning after finishing his morning walk when an over-speeding iron rod carrying truck coming from Tata dashed with him. The truck was heading towards Rairangpur.
The deceased has been identified as Siba Badra (26), the middle son of Chutu Badra. The truck driver fled the scene after committing the accident.

Police reached the spot and started an investigation into the matter. The body has been been sent for post-mortem to Sub-divisional Hospital in Rairangpur.
