Kendrapara, Nov : A 27-year-old youth died of electrocution in Mahajan sahi of ward no.10 under the Pattamundei Municipalty area here on Sunday. 

The deceased has been identified as Ashwin Panda. 

According to the information, Ashwin reparing a electronic device at his owner's house when he was eloctroucted. As a result of the electric shock, Ashwin collpased on the spot. 

Soon, he was rushed to Pattamundei Hospital for treatment. However, he was declared brought dead by the doctors. 

A situation of tension was esclated in the hospital following the incidnet. On being informed, the police reached the spot, detained the house owner and initaited a probe into the matter.
