Paralakhemundi, June 2: In a shocking incident, a youth reportedly committed suicide by jumping from a high-rise mobile tower at Nuagada village under Seranga police station in Gajapati district today.
The deceased youth has been identified as Narayan Subuddhi, son of Kailas Subudhi of Nuagarh village.
The exact reason behind the youth's suicide is yet to be known.

✨According to the information, Narayan climbed up the tower to commit suicide. Though fire personnel reached the spot soon, they could not rescue him safely. Narayan was rushed to the nearby Khajuripada Community Health Centre soon. However, doctors declared him dead.
On being informed, the Seranga police seized the body and sent the same to the District Headquarters Hospital at Paralakhemundi. After registering an unnatural death case, the police have started an investigation, according to the informaiton.
