Bolangir, Mar 11: A youth reportedly committed suicide in his father-in-law's house at Babejuri village of Gudi Ghat Gram Panchayat under the Muribahal police station in Balangir district last night. 

The deceased has been identified as Nilu Majhi, a resident of Lathore under the Muribahal police station limits in the district. 

According to the information, Nilu had been staying in his father-in-law's house at Babejuri after his marriage. He reportedly committed suicide over a family feud. 

On being informed, the Muribahal police reached the spot and seized the body.

The exact reason behind the death would be known only after a thorough investigation, said a police official.
