Uttarakhand, April 21: People often dream of visiting places those are quite famous, especially destinations with natural beauty. However, there are places in India, which can be called ‘hidden gems’ or ‘paradises in hiding’.
And, Chakrata, a beautiful hill station in Uttarakhand, comes in similar bracket of hidden paradises in the country. It is known for its peaceful environment and natural beauty.
What makes Chakrata unique is that foreigners are not allowed to visit this place. Only Indian citizens can enjoy its beauty. This rule is in place because Chakrata is a military area and has an Indian Army base, which makes it a high-security zone.
