The State Capital recorded 925 Covid-19 positive cases yesterday.
Out of the 1,120 fresh cases, 159 cases were detected from among quarantined people and the rest 961 cases were reported from local contacts.
With this, the Covid-19 tally of the BMC area has increased to 65,694.
The civic body also said that as many as 928 people of the city have been recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours.
To date, a total of 52,839 Covid-19 patients of the BMC area have been cured while 304 people succumbed to the virus.
The active cases of the city currently stand at 12,530, said the BMC.
