“Section 144 of the CrPC has been imposed in the twin cities. People should avoid coming outside their house during the night curfew unless they have urgent work. Stringent action will be taken against violators,” said the CP.
Priyadarshi said those who will claim to have medical emergencies will have to produce required proofs before the police guarding on the way.
He informed that 10 platoons of police force and 60 police officers will be deployed at different places to ensure that the night curfew is strictly enforced in the city. He said there will be 25 checking points in the city.
