According to the IMD's latest bulletin, thunderstorm with lightning accompanied with gusty surface wind speed reaching 40-50 KMPH and heavy rainfall is very likely to occur over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Balasore, Bhadrak, Ganjam, Gajapati, Koraput, Nabarangpur during the next 24 hours.
Thunderstorm with lightning accompanied with gusty surface wind speed reaching 40-50 KMPH is very likely to occur over the districts of Bargarh, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Deogarh, Khordha and also hailstorm over the districts of Angul, Dhenkanal, Jajpur till 8.30 AM of Tuesday, the bulletin said.
The IMD issued an orange weather warning for the above-mentioned districts of the State till tomorrow morning.
Similarly, the weathermen issued orange and yellow weather warnings for several districts in the State till Friday morning.
The IMD also forecast that light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at many places in the State during the next seven days.
In the last 24 hours, the highest maximum temperature of 44.5 degree Celsius was recorded at Balangir and the lowest minimum temperature of 19.4 degree Celsius was recorded at Nabarangpur in the State, the bulletin said.
