As per the report, the victim identified as Sudarshan Rana was en-route to Oupada for business when at least six black Pulsar-borne miscreants chased him to waylaid near Baghaampuda by threatening with sharp weapons.
Later, the miscreants snatched away 80 grams of gold and 4 kg silver ornaments along with cash with a face value of Rs 13,000 from Sudarshan. They also took away the mobile phone of the victim before leaving the spot.
The victim lodged a complaint at Soro Police Station in connection with the incident after local rescue him from the spot.
An investigation is underway into the loot.
