Bhubaneswar, May 8: Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Odisha president Irasis Acharya has once again requested Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to vaccinate youths of the State against Covid 19 at the earliest.
In a letter, Acharya reminded the Chief Minister that he had earlier requested to provide vaccines to youths between 18 and 45 years free of cost. Even as he (CM) announced free vaccination for the 18-44 year age group from May 1, the drive has not started in the State yet. Trial run is going on in Bhubaneswar for the last seven days, Acharya noted.
Stating that the vaccination drive has already begun across the country, Acharya requested the CM to undertake free inoculation drive for the youth across the State as soon as possible.
“During the last 21 years, youths have been deprived of jobs and other privileges. Let the youth mass be protected from Covid. They should be administered vaccination at the ealierst,” urged Acharya.
