The decision was taken after a series of Covid-19 positive cases were detected in Judicial Complex, the BMC said.
“In larger public interest and with a view to contain the further spread of virus, the Judicial Complex at Lewis Road, Bhubaneswar is sealed for a period of 07 days from 29.04.2021 to 05.05.2021,” reads an order issued by the BMC.
“No one shall be allowed to move into or from outside the premises of Judicial Complex, Bhubaneswar during the period of sealing, except authorized personnel of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation. The detected Positive Cases are directed to remain in isolation at their respective residences,” it added.
On Wednesday, the State Capital reported as many as 1,044 fresh covid-19 cases, taking the active cases of the city to 6,493.
