The new infections included three children under the age of 18 years. While 36 infections were reported from the quarantined people, the rest 25 cases detected as local contacts.
Among the districts, Khurda reported highest 36 cases, followed by Cuttack seven, Sundargarh five and Bhadrak, Balangir, Jagatsinghpur, Puri and Rayagada one each. Besides, eight cases were reorted from the State Pool.
Yesterday, 24 Covid patients also recovered. With this, the State recoveries stood at 12,79,559. After recoveries and deaths (9,162 due to Covid infection and 53 for other reasons), the Covid active cases stood at 391.
