According the data furnished by the department, 267 cases were reported from among quarantined people, while the rest 185 were detected as local contacts.
Among districts, Khurda recorded the highest of 77 cases, followed by Sundargarh 75, Nuapada 71, Kalahandi 29, Cuttack 26, Bargarh 19, Jharsuguda 17, Balangir 15, Ganjam 13, Angul 12, Puri 11, Mayurbhanj and Sambalpur 10, Jajpur and Nawarangpur eight each, Balasore and Rayagada five each, Bhadrak, Gajapati and Kandhamal four each, Keonjhar three, Kendrapada, Koraput and Malkangiri each and Deogarh, Jagatsinghpur, Dhenkanal and Nayagarh reported one each.
Besides, 16 positives were detected from the State Pool.
During the last 24 hours, the State also witnessed 218 recoveries, taking its recovery tally to 3,37,430. The State has now 2820 active cases.
