Briefing the press regarding Covid unlock guidelines for the month of August, Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) and Development Commissioner Pradeep Jena said, “Shopping malls, cinema halls, hotels and restaurants are allowed to reopen with 50 per cent capacity across the State.”
Night curfew will continue from 8 pm till 6 am across the State during the month of August, he said.
Weekend shutdown will continue in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Puri cities.
Shops and markets will remain open across the state till 8 pm.
Public places like Nandankanan Zoological Park in the State Capital and indoor water parks will be allowed to reopen. Public will also be allowed to sea beaches and parks across the State.
However, the State Government has banned social, cultural, religious and political gatherings.
District collectors will take a final call on reopening of opening of religious institutions depending on local situation, SRC said.
