As many as 1,043 people had tested positive for Covid-19 in the State yesterday. According to data shared by the I&PR Department, 624 cases were reported from among the quarantined people, while the rest 441 were found as local contacts. This includes 122 children.
Khordha district has registered the highest number of new cases with 361 persons testing positive for the disease, followed by Cuttack district with 135 new infections.
The State has now 5,376 active cases.
