“A case has been registered based on the complaint filed by Prakruti Mishra's mother and another case registered on complaint of Babushaan's wife Trupti,” said an investigating officer of the police station.
He too informed that statements of four persons, including Trupti, have been recorded & investigation is still underway.
The police officer informed this much to media after Trupti filed a complaint in the evening. Her mother-in-law Aparajita Mohanty and her aunt had accompanied her.
Earlier in the morning, Prakruti Mishra’s father had lodged a complaint against Trupti. In his complaint, she alleged that Trupti thrashed her daughter and, thus, her image was tarnished. Alleing further that her family has received life threat, Prakruti’s mother demanded a proper investigation.
