The Cuttack SP informed that the accused, Om Prakash has confessed to the crime.
The accused’s grandfather Hrushikesh Muduli was found dead at his residence at Bhagabanpur village under Nemalo police station on Friday. Muduli’s wife was also found in critical condition. It was suspected that the duo was attacked after loot.
According to the information, the cops suspected the involvement of Om Prakash in the horrifying incident and took him to an undisclosed location for interrogation. During the interrogation, Om Prakash reportedly confessed to the crime.
Following the confession, he was arrested and would be forwarded to court soon.
