Out of the fresh six new Covid-19 cases, four cases were detected from quarantined people, while the rest two were found as local contact cases.
With this, the Covid-19 tally of the BMC area has increased to 32,033.
The civic body also said that as many as five people of the city recovered from Covid-19 in the past 24 hours.
So far, a total of 31,680 Covid-19 patients of the BMC area have been cured while 249 people succumbed to the virus.
The active cases of the city currently stand at 83, said the BMC.
