This was informed by the party’s state general sectary Prithiviraj Harichandan at a presser held in Bhadrak today.
According to the BJP leader, Pradhan will hold road shows and address public meetings to seek votes for the BJP candidate. He will also hold a door-to-door campaign in the Dhamnagar assembly seat.
“BJP’s star campaigners will hit the campaign trail from October to October 31. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will campaign for the party candidate. Union Ministers Ashwini Vaishnaw and Bishweswar Tudu will also campaign in Dhamnagar and seek votes in favour of Suraj,” Harichandan said.
“People of Dhamnagar are with BJP and they have faith in PM Narendra Modi and his pro-people schemes,” Harichandan added.
Election to the assembly seat is scheduled to be held on November 3. The BJP has nominated from the seat Suryabanshi Suraj, son of late MLA Bishu Charan Sethi, while the BJD fielded senior member Abanti Das.
