As per reports, the accused constable, who was driving a police vehicle carrying three cops, lost control of the wheels of the SUV near the Punjab National bank in VSS Marg here last night following which the vehicle slipped into a roadside drain.
Subsequently, the constable allegedly shouted the passersby and forced them to lift the vehicle.
In the meantime, some media persons tried to record the incident on their cameras. Then, the constable allegedly entered an argument with the scribes and misbehaved with them.
Meanwhile, locals demanded that police should take action against the accused cop and book him in drink and drive case.
