Cuttack, Dec 23: The Bharatiya Bikash Parishad on Wednesday filed a misc case in the Orissa High Court urging for a CBI probe into the Nayagarh minor girl murder case and polygraph test on SIT chief Arun Bothra and doctors who conducted medical tests on the body of the five year girl, Paree, at different times.
“While the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) have recommended for a probe by a Central agency, the victim’s mother has questioned revelations made b y the SIT. What the SIT revealed at a Press meet yesterday doesn’t match with the statement made by the Minister of State for Home in the last Assembly session. While the Minister had stated that the girl was not raped, the SIT is now saying the girl was sexually assaulted. Thus the HC should order for a CBI probe into the incident,” urged Bharatiya Bikash Parishad Surendra Panigrahi in the misc case.
Panigrahi also urged the HC to direct to conduct the polygraph test on doctors who initially pointed that there was no sign of rape on the body of the minor girl of Jadupur in Nayagarh district and those now pointing out that there was rape on the body and on the Chief of the SIT under the direct supervision of an acting Judge of the HC.
