Union Minister Pradhan will campaign for BJP candidate Pradip Purohit at several places under the Padampur Assembly segment from Tuesday, he said.
Pradhan will hold roadshows in Padampur constituency to woo the voters for next three days starting from tomorrow. The Union Minister is also scheduled to address a public meeting on December 3 to seek votes for the BJP candidate, he added.
Yesterday, two Union Ministers, Ashwini Vaishnaw and Narendra Singh Tomar extensively campaigned in favour of the BJP nominee at Paikamal in Padampur Assembly constituency for the ensuing by-poll.
The voting for the Padampur by-poll will be held on December 5 and the counting of votes will take place on December 8.
As many as 10 candidates including BJP’s Pradeep Purohit, BJD's Barsha Singh Bariha and Congress nominee Satyabusan Sahu are in the fray for the by-poll.
The by-poll has been necessitated due to the death of sitting MLA Bijaya Ranjan Singh Bariha on October 3.
