These projects include Hybrid Renewable Energy Park, being set up close to Indo Pak border, near Khavda village in Kutch district, a desalination plant, a fully automated milk processing of Sarhad dairy and a packing plant.
The Prime Minister will also lay foundation stone virtually for a desalination plant coming up at Gundiyali village near Mandvi in Kutch district. This plant aims to convert sea water for potable purposes for a population 8 lakh of 300 villages.
"Prime Minister Narendra Modi will undertake a visit to Dhordo in Kutch, Gujarat on 15th December, 2020 and lay the Foundation Stone of several development projects in the State. These projects include a desalination plant, a hybrid renewable energy park, and a fully automated milk processing and packing plant," read a release by the Prime Minister's Office (PMO).
The PM will also interact with farmers and artisans and visit a memorial park being built in Bhuj in memory of the 2001 earthquake victims. He will return to Delhi late in the evening, the release said.
