Bhubaneswar, Jun 26: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) Regional Centre, Bhubaneswar on Saturday said that rainfall accompanied with thunderstorm and lightning likely to occur at many places in Odisha during next two days.
The IMD issued yellow weather warning for several districts of the State till Monday morning.
The IMD’s weather forecast for Odisha during next two days is as follows:
Day 1
Yellow Warning (To be updated)
Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Khordha, Puri and Ganjam till 8.30 am Sunday.
Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khordha, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Malkangiri, Koraput and Nabarangpur till tomorrow morning.

Yellow Warning (To be updated)
Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khordha, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Malkangiri and Koraput from 8.30 am of Sunday to 8.30 am of Monday.
The weathermen also forecast light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at many places in the State during next two days.
