There will be no large change in maximum temperature (day temperature) during next three days and thereafter it will fall by 3-4° Celsius in Odisha, IMD said.
Bhubaneswar, June 7: India Meteorological Department (IMD) Regional Centre Bhubaneswar on Monday issued yellow warning of thunderstorm with lightning and gusty surface wind over several districts of Odisha during next five days.
It also forecast that light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur in many parts of the State during period.
“Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Nayagarh, Dhenkanal, Khordha, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, and Cuttack till 8.30 am of Tuesday,” said the latest bulletin.
They weathermen also predicted that rain, thunderstorm with lighting likely to occur in several places of the State till Saturday morning.

Today, the highest maximum temperature of 42.4° Celsius was recorded at Titilagarh and the lowest minimum temperature of 20° Celsius was recorded at Phulabani in the State, it added.
