The deceased has been identified as Hemalata Sahu, wife of Narendra Sahu of the same village.
As per the report, Hemalata had gone missing from her house late in the night and a search by his husband went futile subsequently. Her body was spotted lying on the backside of a poultry farm located around 100 metres from the home by some locals who called up police.
After Soro Police reached the spot and carried out preliminary investigation, the inner garment and shoes of the woman were also found lying nearby pointing at a foul play by miscreants.
While the body of the deceased has been rushed for autopsy, locals have suspected it to be a case of murder.
